Nobody is going or preaching, we are busy creating our little plastic Barbie worlds playing our little games pretending that the world out there doesn’t exist or eve if it does, it’s not our concern, we’re worshippers and when we do try to go out, we find that we are out of touch and ill equipped that we melt in the light of the son

We are accustomed to and content with our spiritual masturbation pretending that it is the real thing. There is a huge difference between masturbation and sex, they both have the same sensation, but only one results in fruit. Most of the Christian experience inside of the church is nothing more than some glamorized spiritual masturbation session in which we get all worked up and emotional and convince ourselves that it is the real thing except for one thing, there seems to be no fruit later to our experiences.

Where are those who were so “touched” and passed hours on the ground going “UUUHHHH, UUUUHHHHH, UUUHHHH,” in two months or one year. Revival is not a spiritual orgasm, it is people being confronted in their sins, changing and going out to impact this world rather shutting themselves up in some comfortable air conditioned environment, a modern day ark, and letting all those outside drown and go to hell because it’s not our calling. It is our calling and responsibility, but we need to get to a point in which we are no longer satisfied fantasizing about images of revival and God touching us and using us and connect with Him and His heart and daring to step out of our fairy tale worlds and enter into a world that full of hurt and pain and trying to make Him known there. Spiritual orgies aren’t going to change anything or save anyone. There exists real experiences with God that take us to a point of being more like him and that is what we need to run after, not from.
