When you get to the time and it's like time to shoot the ball, you're not going to stop because everything is leading up to that. That's where you're trying to get. But anyhow, they decided, we're not going to contaminate ourselves. James 1.27, Chagos 1.27, says that pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. Because every single day, we have opportunities to lie. We have opportunities to gossip. We have opportunities to steal. Keep the change. You know, like the guy at the store gives you too much money back. And you're like going, oh, praise the Lord. I got five extra dollars back.

And you think like God blessed you and you're a thief. So you have to decide right on these things because these little things are going to make a difference in your life later. Por exemplo, na nossa vida normal, todo dia, em nossa cultura, infelizmente, parar de mentir é coisa extraordinária. Como que é fácil? Como as pessoas mintam? Minta, minta, minta. Mas ainda assim, querendo agradar e mentir, você mentirou de qualquer jeito. Então, vai fazer o quê? Ou de fofocar, né? Quem faz parte de uma igreja, já estava em uma igreja, já sabe. A parada da igreja é fofoca. Até o mundo tira onda da igreja pela fofoca da igreja. A igreja tem uma fama. Ridícula de fofoqueiros, né? E de roubar. Quando você está no supermercado, o cara te dá uns cinco reais a mais num troco, você fica todo feliz. Aleluia! Deus está me abençoando, ladrão. E, sabe, são nessas coisas pequenas

que não temos que tomar as decisões certas, porque essas coisas que vão determinar o que a gente faz no futuro. né? E se a gente não consegue parar de mentir, de fofocar, não fica com troco, ou não paga o nosso imposto de renda, coisa assim, cara, e quando vem uma parada grande, como a gente vai se negar? A gente está acostumado. Tudo é mentira, tudo é mentira. Agora, quando você tem que falar a verdade, se falar a verdade, vai apanhar, ou vai ter um resultado ruim, quem vai falar a verdade? Mas nunca. Porque eu estou acostumado e se a gente vai ter. Então, o que nós temos que fazer é que nós temos que nos olharmos

para o que Deus nos nos dá. O que nós temos que nos darmos para o que nós temos. E nós temos que nós temos que nós temos que determine quem eu am. E Shadrach, Meshach e Abednego, eles aprendemos que os things eram em os smallos. The Tio Nabu is there, taking the pain of the car, and they say, what is the thing? Oh, hey, Nabu. We don't have to defend ourselves, we don't have to answer you. But keep knowing, if the God whom we serve is able to save us, He will save us from His hands. And they come up with this response. That says, you know what, king? We know you're the king, but we don't really care about that. Because the God we serve is bigger. He can save us from your hands if He wants to. And if He doesn't, that's His decision too. And even if He doesn't, just know this, we're not going to bow, man. you can kill us, but I will never bow before your God or worship your statue. Go ahead and kill me. So they decided to obey God

rather than man, even if it meant dying. Which, God, it's like a concept so out there today. It's so foreign to our minds. Choosing to suffer rather than sin or preferring to die with integrity rather than live with iniquity. São concepções totalmente longe da gente. Uma pessoa que decide obedecer Deus em vez de homens ainda se isso vai resultar na morte deles. Ou escolhendo sofrer em vez de pecar. O que é isso? Isso vai bem longe da concepção, bem fora da nossa realidade hoje em dia. Os caras que prefiram morrer com integridade em vez de viver com iniquidade. São coisas que a gente mal entende hoje em dia. É loucura.

Porque a maioria diz, ó, vou pecar depois eu peço a perdão de Deus, ué. Mas no mínimo eu não vou sofrer porque Deus quer que eu seja feliz nessa vida, né? Tudo é prosperidade, tudo é felicidade, sem sofrimento, sem choro, sem não sei o que. Mas, cara, a gente descobre qual que é a desculpa até pecar de escapar uma situação difícil. Mas eles não. They decided that I would rather die than sin. Because that's just the character that they had in them that started all the way back when they said we're not gonna eat the king's food. and they had this integrity that just goes way beyond anything that we even see today. Anywhere.

It's hard to see people with integrity that would rather suffer than sin. Today, we look at, well, I'll just sin and I'll ask God to forgive me. But it's not God's will that I suffer. It's not His will that I'm not happy. We've got this stupid gospel today that tells us that God wants us to be happy and prosperous and not sick and all this. and even if we have to sin in order to attain that, it's okay because God is full of grace and He's full of love and He loves me and He understands and He'll forgive me and it's just really a false gospel and it's really stupid. But anyways, going on. Revelation 12, 11 said that they did not

And he starts freaking out. But you know something, we need to realize that if God ever puts us in a situation where we need to stand up for what's right, we need to do it's right. God will never leave us alone. And if you see a situation where you have to be in pain or have to take a posture right,

you can believe. If you take and Jesus never will leave us alone. Always will be to your side. You can go to your work, or your work, or your school, where you will be. He will not abandon you while you are in pain. When you in pain, when you turn up, because you will be hotelado, prostrado contigo, and he rala. Good luck. I'm out. And you see how God took three normal guys, committed to him, they made a wild decision, they risked their lives, and it took this pagan king who didn't even know who the real god was, didn't even believe in the real god, now you've got him worshiping him, now you've got him glorifying him, now you've got him saying glory to the god of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and then he went on to make rules. And he said anybody who says anything against this god of

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, if you say something about him, we're going to knock your house down, and we're going to rip your arms and legs off. And he didn't say about ripping off your head and pooping in your neck or something, but he did say he was going to rip your legs and your arms off, which is pretty, you know, psycho, you know. do you steal, do you pay your taxes, do you get music off the internet, movies off the internet, that, you know, aren't supposed to be taken off, you need to buy them, are you living for God, that's what we want to get, is to stop and look at the little things, because these little things, are going to determine, all the big things in the future, a gente quer ver, agora, nossa, é o ponto que a gente está querendo chegar, como são as decisões pequenas na sua vida, não quero saber dos grandes, não quero saber, eu quero, mas eu não estou procurando saber se você é adulto, se você é assassino, se você usa drogas, se você é traficante,

se você é bebê, não estou querendo saber dessas daí, o que estou querendo saber, são as coisas pequenas, porque aí a gente vê que começam as coisas pequenas, que viram coisas certas e grandes, você minta, você tem o costume de mentir, quando fala com pessoas, você exagera, você sempre fala a verdade, ou você sempre faz um jeito brasileiro, sabe, do you, do you, você engana as pessoas, você leva vantagem, você manipula as situações, para o seu bem, você rouba, você pega os DVDs, os CDs no internet, pirataria, você rouba, porque é ladrão, cara, pirataria é roubo, quando você aluga um DVD, já está na flecha, já tem os DVDs piratas,

que você compra, você bota lá, no aparelho, já, pirataria é crime, você está lá com uma, ah meu, mas, são as coisas pequenas, porque se a gente rouba, DVD, compra por dois, três reais, não sei quanto que é, mas se a gente rouba assim, o que vai nos impedir, de roubar coisas maiores, mais tarde, a gente se acostuma, de tomar algo, que não é nosso, que não pertence, a gente vai fazer desculpas, não, mas, você sabe quanto que custa um DVD original, você sabe quanto que custa, sabe quanto custa um carro zerado, então, vão roubar o carro, é, porque, meu, quem tem para comprar zerado, e, e, sabe a coisa, eu não vou vender o carro,

I just wanted us to stop, and look at, the little decisions, and realize, you know what, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they, they, they changed the nation, their stories there, they changed lives, today people read their story, and still get challenged, and make the right decisions, because they started out making small decisions, small right decisions, on things that, that most of us would say, you know, that's really, a non-issue, it's food, dude, relax, it's just food, but for them, it's like, no, it's not just food, because the possibility, if I, you know, start, compromising my walk with God, and allowing things in,

the possibilities, later on in life, could be bad, could be disastrous for me, and that's what we need, to stop and look at, and say, you know what, I'm gonna make the right decisions, when they're small, because when, comes the big challenge, you know like, are you gonna bow or die, I'm gonna stand up, because, I'm used to standing up, and I'm used to everybody looking at me, and thinking I'm weird, and it really doesn't matter, because I don't care, whether I live or die, I really care, what God thinks about my life, okay, Lord we thank you for tonight, we pray that you would help us, Lord to make the right decisions,

when we're, forced to, to stand up, or bow God, that we would have the courage, to, not stand up, but to keep standing God, because you put us standing up, we're the ones that actually change positions, that we just need to maintain, where you've put us, but help us to maintain, where we're at, to continue, standing, God, we just pray, that each one of us, Lord Jesus, would be a light, in this world, God, a light in the darkness, God, that we wouldn't hide our light, but Lord, we would put it on a hill, that we would be that light, shining on a hill, that we would live, such a, a different, style of life, that the people around us,

would look at us, and think that we're weird, and think that we're out of our minds, but they would be challenged, they would be forced, to look at the fact, that they're different, and forced to admit, that we might be weird, but we're doing what's right, and God, that we could change our world, that way, by living the truth, instead of just going along, with the, everybody else, going along with the flow, and being a part, of everything that's wrong, because everybody's doing it, God, give us the courage, to not only, stand up, but to keep standing, God, that your name, would be glorified, through people, standing up,

for you, standing up for true, standing up for what's right, Lord, in the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen. Amen.
